Project Overview: Active Hampshire Bodybuilding
My project is designed to promote the sport of bodybuilding in the area of Hampshire. Today young people between the ages of 16 - 24 are continually encouraged to get healthy, but are bored of the same old sports they are encouraged to participate in.
Within this project I am promoting the sport of Bodybuilding as a new and exciting sport for my target audience to get involved with. Both males and females can take part in this sport and can take their training to whatever level they so wish. Within the elements of my project, people will be able to learn basic and advanced training techniques dependant on their knowledge of exercises and learn to start crafting their body to the level they desire. The banner ad leads them to the website where they can find information on exercises for each body area and links to how to perform them correctly. Users can then connect to the Facebook page where they can post their own thoughts and training tips which they have learnt from their own training to help others in the community.
Bodybuilding is not just a sport that people can choose to compete in, but it also gives them the oppertunity to meet new friends and build realtionships with fellow trainers, creating a community in the area of Hampshire. Being surrounded and encouraged by like minded people helps everyone to achieve greater goals. Bodybuilding is not only a sport which can help you create a fit and healthy body, but it can also increase your self confidence, mental strength and determination to help you with everyday goals and tasks.
The overall goal of my project is to introduce and encourage new people into the sport and to provide them with the basic knowledge and understanding of how to get started. The Facebook page helps introduce people to each other, getting them talking and discussing the sport with the long term goal of them using the site to help one another with training tips and findings.
