Project Overview:
FIND YOUR SPORT AND GIVE IT A GO
This project aims to help people find the sport or activity that is ideal for them.
This may be an activity that they have always wanted to get involved with or a sport that they used to play but never quite managed to get back in to.
This project aims to target these people, grab their attention and direct them to the information that is needed for them to find their sport, whilst making the process as easy and as clear as possible.
A banner ad will be placed on local news and sport sites to grab the attention of the intended target audience.
Once the user has given their full attention to the advertisement they will want to find out more information by clicking on the banner ad.
This will lead the user to a microsite which lists some of the sports or activities that are available in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight region. The user may already have a sport in mind or they may wish to find out more information about new sports that they wish to be involved with.
Target Audience
Young to middle age people who keep meaning to either, start a new sport or activity, or return to a sport or activity that they used to be actively involved with. Sport for them is just something that keeps getting put to one side and is always on their to-do list.
Either way the target audience is the type of person who needs to be given a gentle nudge in the right direction to enable them to become actively involved in their chosen sport.
They are relatively busy and do not go out of their way to research local sports clubs.
